AFM Naturals Oil Wax Finish is an ideal choice for hardwood, bamboo and cork floors, or for other interior wood surfaces such as furniture and children's toys. It contains a sophisticated combination of natural resins and waxes that together create a durable, water-resistant finish and sealer that enhances and maintains the beauty and breathability of most wood.

Unlike oil or water-based polyurethanes that are topical in nature, Naturals Oil Wax is penetrating, which soaks into the wood sealing it from inside. Naturals Oil Wax creates a slightly amber tone and stays that way without blistering or peeling.

AFM Naturals Oil Wax Finish contains no toxic ingredients such as biocides or lead driers. It's completely safe for everyone and, once cured, has virtually no odor.Curing times vary with application, porosity of wood, humidity and temperature.

Don't confuse this product with food-grade AFM Naturals Clear Penetrating Oil which has no wax in it. Naturals Oil Wax employs different oils and waxes suited for flooring and interior surfaces.

Why we like it

We don't like this product. We LOVE it. When properly buffed, it repels not only water but the toughest stains, including curry powder, grape juice, beet juice, ink pen, etc.

If you've never used an oil-wax, this will surprise you because it's so easy to use, as well as long-lasting. It's also very easy to touch up and repair scratches or dents. We've used it on almost everything from window sills and countertops to flooring and furniture with no regrets. If you like the feeling of wood and don't like putting plastic coatings on wood, then this is the product for you.

Alert: WARNING: Spontaneous combustion danger! This product contains vegetable oils. By itself, it's not flammable or subject to spontaneous combustion. However, rags, steel wool, sanding dust or waste soaked with oil may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded or stored. Sorry to say, we know this from firsthand experience.

Immediately after each use, place rags, steel wool, paper, cardboard, sanding dust and other soaked waste in a sealed, water-filled metal container to prevent heat build-up and fire. When drying, allow oil-soaked materials to spread out in the open air to prevent fire.
