High-performance acoustic underlayment with moisture barrier
Our most popular underlayment, DeciBLOK with Moisture Barrier provides great support, sound insulation and durability for flooring. It is antimicrobial and non-allergenic; plus it inhibits and retards micro-organisms, odors, mold and mildew.
Its good memory prevents compression, and its built-in foil moisture barrier make DeciBLOK with Moisture Barrier ideal for floating floor installations.
It is very easy to use; simply roll it out and cut it with a razor blade to fit the room. It has a slight rubber smell when first out of the packaging, but the smell goes away once covered with a floor. Completely non-toxic, it will not contribute to indoor air pollution.
DeciBLOK is also available without the moisture barrier.
Why we like it
We've been using this underlayment for two decades with very good results. Unlike most underlayment, this one won't fall apart, crush or disintegrate over time. It holds up well to heavy foot traffic and also has excellent sound deadening qualities. The built-in foil saves you the step of installing a separate barrier underneath your flooring.
