There have been two major changes for the Marmoleum Click Line in 2023. Our best-selling non-toxic flooring just became a lot better. Forbo has re-invented their Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc line of floating planks and squares with a new waterproof core and a new Topshield Pro long-lasting surface finish. These two improvements not only extend the life of the product but make it more versatile, moisture and abrasion-resistant.

More durable and easy to maintain: Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc Seal is a highly functional waterproof*, life-proof floor that comes in 40+ vibrant colors and can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, laundry and virtually anywhere inside a home or office. Not only does the Topshield Pro provide better resistance to water, but it also provides much better wearability, stain and scratch resistance, and ease of cleaning. And, don’t forget, unlike laminate or vinyl-type floors, Marmoleum has a through-body color, which makes it repairable, too.

Easy DIY Installation: The Valinge 5G drop and lock system makes installation fast and easy. It can even be installed below, on or above grade. There are no nails or glue needed. You don't have to be an experienced flooring contractor to do this by yourself.

Safer than vinyl flooring: Marmoleum Click Cinch Lock is a healthier alternative to vinyl, VCT or laminate flooring because it's made with all natural bio-based ingredients: linseed oil, limestone, tree rosins, wood flour, mineral pigments, and jute.

It contains no added urea formaldehyde, phthalates, biocides or fungicides, or isocyanates, and emits Zero VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). Due to the unique properties of Marmoleum and Topshield Pro, bacteria like MRSA cannot grow on the surface, making Marmoleum naturally bacteriostatic and allergy-free. This is part of the reason Marmoleum is so popular in schools and hospitals where occupant safety is so critical.

Sustainably made in Europe: Marmoleum Click is assembled in Germany. Each panel is composed of three parts: top layer—2.5mm Marmoleum (Netherlands), middle layer—high density waterproof fiberboard made from recycled wood fiber (France), and bottom layer—cork (Portugal). Linoleum is naturally resilient and together with a layer of cork on the bottom makes for a very comfortable floor to stand or walk on. Together all three components provide your home with a warmer, quieter feeling.

Marmoleum is CO2 neutral and requires zero carbon credits to off-set the CO2 used in production of this product. The amount of carbon dioxide sequestered by plants, trees, and crops during their lifetime exceeds the amount of CO2 emitted while making this product. In addition, at the end of its useful life, Marmoleum is biodegradable and recyclable making it one of the most sustainable flooring products available.

Proven performance: Flooring needs to withstand use and abuse, the weather of the season, the footprints and dirt carried into the building, the scratches and stains occurring by accident, as well as the overall retention of the appearance over time. Marmoleum has a long history and outstanding track record of performance and hygiene for more than 125 years! One of the world’s first truly green floors, it has withstood the test of time and continues to get better and better.

NOTE: This floor should NOT be Steam Mopped. Steam Mopping may damage this floor.

Dimensions: Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc Seal comes in 12" x 36" (11.8 x 35.9) planks or 12" x 12" (11.8 x 11.8) squares and is available in a beautiful range of popular colors. This makes for a perfect green flooring choice for kitchens, rec rooms, bedrooms, living rooms, basements, and offices.

NOTE 1: Natural Ambering: All Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc colors display a slight yellow cast when removed from the box. Don't panic. This yellow cast is known as ambering and is caused by the oxidation of Marmoleum’s main ingredient linseed oil. Linseed oil continues to harden over time making Marmoleum more durable. Linseed also exhibits anti-static properties that repel dust and make your floor easier to clean. Linseed oil continually oxidizes over time which prevents microorganisms from living or breeding on your Marmoleum floor. The yellow cast will fade naturally after one to two weeks as it is exposed to sunlight or artificial lighting in your home. This is a normal process that happens to all Marmoleum products. The blue and gray colors tend to show the most contrast after exposure. See downloads for more information.

NOTE 2: Not recommended for movable vehicles such as RVs unless they will be permanently stationed. For these projects use glue-down Marmoleum tile or sheeting instead (Available on the Green Building Supply website).

NOTE 3: Not recommended for installation in any area where a floor drain or sump pump is present, this would include up to curbless showers. Please see the Marmoleum Click Brochure which emphatically states this on page 8, along with our note above, *waterproof does not mean floodproof.

NOTE 4: Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc Seal is compatible with the most recent generation of Click Cinch Loc but is not compatible with older Marmoleum Click II. Seal WILL NOT click together with Click II.

NOTE 5: For those with asthma or allergy or chemical sensitivity we recommend ordering samples to test for your own personal tolerance. There are no hazardous ingredients in this product, however, when new there is a slight linseed odor that dissipates within 1-2 weeks.
