EcoStar Traditional Cedar Shake Roof Tiles
EcoStar Traditional Cedar Shake Roof Tiles
Item #17761
Model #480224
Save: $0.00
Shake-like roofing tiles made of recycled rubber and plastic
EcoStar's Traditional Cedar Shake Tiles (formerly known as Seneca Cedar Shake) emulate the exact look of wood shakes, but are far more durable and practical. They are engineered to meet the need for a safe, long-lasting alternative to wood roofing and are fabricated with todayβs strongest, most flexible recycled materials, rubber (EPDM) and plastic (TPO). They come in standard thickness (3/8"), 3 widths (6",9", 12" in each bundle), and 9 different colors. NOTE: The Traditional Cedar Shake comes in class A or class C.Β
Unlike cedar shakes that rot, mold, burn and require significant maintenance, EcoStar's Traditional Cedar Shake Tiles offer long life, fire-safety, rot-resistance and no maintenance. These shakes maintain the look of real wood but will not curl, chip, crack or fall apart.
Manufactured in the USA, Traditional Cedar Shakes provide enhanced resistance to harsh weather conditions including wind, driving rain and hail. They're more durable than other roofing materials in terms of resistance to freeze-thaw, denting and breakage from falling trees or from working on their surface.
NOTE: must be applied in temperatures of 45 degrees or higher

Why We Like It
Anyone who has owned a shake roof knows how expensive and labor intensive it can be to keep it looking good. This recycled product offers a reliable alternative with all the benefits, including less impact on the environment.
The thick cut makes these shake tiles look even more like the real thing and creates a highly protective barrier to wind, water, hail and just about anything that might ordinarily damage a roof. Not only does this roofing offer great curb appeal, but it also provides excellent protection from the elements.
