Hard gloss sealer for toxic off-gassing

AFM Safecoat Hard Seal is a multi-use, clear gloss sealer specially formulated to provide mar-resistance to both low and high-porosity surfaces. Because it forms a continuous membrane when applied properly, it effectively seals any pollution or toxic chemical off-gassing and improves indoor air quality.

Hard Seal can also be used on painted or stained woodwork or on unfinished wood products. Two to three coats are recommended. If you want a more abrasion resistant sealer, try our AFM Polyureseal BP.

Hard Seal is very low-odor and safe, even for the chemically sensitive. It's easy to apply with a brush or garden pump sprayer.

NOTE: This product is not to be used over oil-based polyurethanes or oil-based products.

NOTE: Hard Seal is not recommended for hardwood floors. AFM Polyureseal BP is a more durable product for that particular job.

Why We Like It

This is an excellent product for sealing in toxic fumes. One coat usually does it, but two will certainly take care of all odors. It dries quickly and will protect your home's finishes from abuse.
