Blaze, Bostik, Urethane Grout Haze & General Purpose Cleaner
Item #28603
Blaze, Bostik, Urethane Grout Haze & General Purpose Cleaner
Blaze is an effective cleaner of urethane grout haze and, when diluted, an excellent all purpose cleaner. Bostik suggests using this cleaner for their QuartzLock2 urethane grout if a residue is left on the tile.
Surfaces that are more difficult to clean that will benefit from the use of Blaze include high gloss surfaces, through-body porcelains and etched/frosted glass. Blaze is safe to use on ceramic and porcelain tile, masonry, concrete, metal and glass tile, as well as on natural stone such as marble, granite, limestone, travertine, sandstone and flagstone.
NOTE:This is a high pH solvent that requires careful application, so please be sure your contractor reads and follows the directions to the letter. While there are some VOCs in this product, it performs very well, and when applied as instructed, it does not leave any residual odor.
Alert: If you use Bostik's QuartzLock2 correctly, you will not need this product. However, there are some situations where the grout haze is difficult to see and must be removed later. This product was designed specifically to remove the residual haze from urethane grout, and it works very well. There are few other products that perform as well.
Because this product is used in small quantities and for short periods of time, the VOC content tends to flash off quickly and leaves no residual odor. Please follow directions very carefully for best results. This is a high pH solvent that requires careful application.
