AFM Safecoat Hard Seal is a multi-use, clear gloss sealer specially formulated to provide mar-resistance to both low and high-porosity surfaces. Because it forms a continuous membrane when applied properly, it effectively seals any pollution or toxic chemical off-gassing and improves indoor air quality.
Hard Seal can also be used on painted or stained woodwork or on unfinished wood products such as plywood, OSB, chipboard, MDF, Masonite, etc. Two coats are recommended. It will also bond to most vinyl products. If you want a more abrasion resistant sealer, try our AFM Polyureseal BP.
Hard Seal is very low-odor and safe, even for the chemically sensitive. It's easy to apply with a roller or garden pump sprayer.
This is an excellent product for sealing in toxic fumes. One coat usually does it, but two will certainly take care of all odors. It dries quickly and will protect your home's finishes from abuse.
