Because this is a water-based product, it may freeze during shipping. For that reason we will not ship over a weekend if temperatures dip below 32 degrees F.

AFM Safecoat Concrete Floor Paint (formerly known as Deckote) is a highly durable, waterborne semi-gloss floor coating, ideal for concrete floors or walls as well as stucco, brick, block, stone, or magnesite.
NOTE: Not for use in garages or driveways due to hot tire pickup. Also, this product will not bond to floors made of gypcrete which is a lightweight concrete used in apartment floors.
Two coats are recommended for optimal performance. The second coat must be applied within a few days. Any longer will allow the product to completely cure and require light sanding before the second application.
Safecoat Concrete Floor Paint can be tinted to any AFM color.
It's very easy to apply and seal a floor with AFM Safecoat Concrete Floor Paint. Once you test colors and approve your final choice, AFM Concrete Floor Paint will produce reliable colors for uniform results over the entire application — unlike concrete stains which tend to be blotchy and vary in color.

To avoid floor being slippery when wet, we recommend the addition of sand or other aggregate.
This product has a semi-gloss sheen. When a second coat is applied within a few days time it will bond properly. However, if you wait more than a week, it will fully cure and applying a second coat will not bond well unless you lightly abrade or sand the surface.
