Rubio Monocoat Wood Filler Putty (also known as Woodfiller Quick) is a solvent-free, one-component, shrink-proof putty in powder form for the preparation of indoor woodworking repairs and joinery. It is fast curing and can be sanded and stained easily with oils from Rubio Monocoat, or primed and painted with any water-based paint. It comes in three shades: light, medium, and dark.
This product is not intended to repair gypsum plaster, drywall or sheetrock. For those, use our ECOS Spackle instead. For cracks in stucco, concrete, or cement plaster, use our Chemlink M-1 CR.
Rubio Monocoat Wood Filler Putty is easy to mix with water, fill, sand, prime, and paint. The powder mixes to a smooth consistency and spreads easily. Simply fill the nail holes, screw holes, cracks, gouges, etc., let dry, then sand smooth. The product has an open time of about 35 minutes in a sealed container after mixing.
Most wood putty contains solvents or other chemicals that are not safe to breathe. This filler contains none of those, spreads easily in holes and cracks and won’t crack when dry. A total pleasure to work with and virtually no odor. The shelf life is 12 months or more if you keep the lid tightly sealed.
