All-weather general-purpose construction sealant

Novalink 35 is a versatile sealant that cures in damp, dry and cold climates down to 30 °F. It is capable of joint movement in excess of 35% in both compression and extension. Novalink has a 30-minute skin-over time, is non-toxic, paintable after 24 hours and has very low odor.

NOTE: We recommend using this product within 6 months of the date of purchase.

NOTE: This caulk will not bond to HDPE plastics.

Videos

This is a multi-tasking caulk/sealant that bonds with most construction materials including aluminum, galvanized metal, PVC, glass, fiberglass, FRP, wood, block, brick, EPS foam, concrete, stone and masonry. Ideal for all medium duty jobs like windows, doors, siding, foundations, driveways etc. It's designed for all outdoor or indoor applications. Novalink contains no biocides or fungicides.

NOTE: NovaLink 35 white will turn an off white color over time. Painting is advised if you need the color to remain white. For a clear look use Chemlink Clear. For heavy duty adhesion use Chemlink M-1 outdoors and Chemlink BuildSecure indoors. For extra hot or cold, or extra stretch use Chemlink Durasil.

NOTE 2: To smooth out NovaLink 35, use only rubbing alcohol and not water or mineral spirits or anything with xylene.

NOTE 3: ChemLink products do not adhere to polyethylene or polypropylene (recycled plastics)

Why We Like It

In spite of its new name as a masonry sealer, please be advised that this product is an all purpose sealant. We've used this for over a decade indoors and outdoors for jobs like windows, doors and siding, as well as around sinks and tubs. We like it because it is ultra-low odor, flexible, comes in nice colors, paintable and because it performs so well even in cold or hot temperatures.
