Sun-Mar, Composting Toilet, Central Flush System, Centrex 2000 NE
The Sun-Mar Centrex 2000 NE is a non-electric model with a 4" vent stack suited for 7-9 adults when used seasonally. It is a composting system where a traditional looking toilet can be put in the bathroom. The composting unit sits below the toilet, usually within 15-20 feet.
It is designed for use with the Sun-Mar Sealand 1 pint flush toilet (purchased separately). Vented for odorless operation. A pollution free alternative to sewers, septic systems, and chemical toilets. If used seasonally, compost will need to be removed once a year. If used residentially, compost will have to be removed every few months.
Composting toilets use the natural process of decomposition to break down waste into usable nutrient rich top soil. To begin the process, microbes must be added to the drum. The drum must be turned at least every two to three days and solid waste must always be followed by a scoop of bulking material. When the toilet is half full, the finishing process begins. 30 days later, there is usable odor free compost.
A perfectly designed composting toilet that works flawlessly and creates great compost with no odor.
