Hi-low loop in textured earth tones
Loop Pile carpet is hard-working and has a stylish finish with a wide range of distinctive patterns created by a combination of higher and lower loops. They often have a linear appearance with distinct rows, but not always, and their colors can be uniform or heathered, sometimes with flecks. Common names are Level Loop Pile, Multi-level Loop, Sisal, and Berber; all of which are perfect for higher traffic. Best uses are in residences with kids and pets or in office buildings, as they wear better and do not show footprints. Loop pile carpet is usually (but not always) less expensive than cut pile, especially when combined with synthetics in a 80/20 or 50/50 blend.
Godfrey Hirst, in 1865, became one of first manufacturers of wool carpeting in Australia. They make wool carpeting with 100% New Zealand wool, which is considered the softest and whitest wool in the world. Their products are categorized into three main groups: Cut Pile, Loop Pile and Combination of Cut and Loop Pile.
