AFM Safecoat DuroStain

• Safecoat features: Premium quality, fast curing, very low odor, semi-transparent stain for interior and exterior surfaces. Excellent pigmentation stability. Must be used in conjunction with a topical sealer such as AFM Acrylac or Polyureseal BP. 
• If you wish to use an oil-based sealer (such as Naturals Oil or Naturals Oil Wax) please use ONLY after the stain has completely dried (24 hours or longer) and you have tested the sealer in an inconspicuous area.
• Non-toxic formula: Contains no aniline dyestuffs, no gilsonite or asphalt, no aromatic solvents and no formaldehyde. Non-offensive to installer and occupant. Very low VOC content, meets or exceeds all federal and state air quality regulations, including California. Safely used by and for the chemically sensitive.
• Uses: Recommended for all wood surfaces.
• NOTE: Durostain Clear is only used to reduce and lighten one of the other Durostain colors.  Note: It is not a sealer by itself.
• Coverage: One gallon covers approximately 300 square feet in one coat, depending on surface porosity and the intensity of the stain color desired.
• Application NOTE: This product dries faster than normal oil based stain and therefore must be removed with a rag much faster.  If left on too long it may darken more than desired. As alway, be sure to test for color before applying.
