The Green Building Supply sealers are permanent waterproofing products that are non-toxic, odorless, and reasonably priced. They are easy to use for concrete, masonry, stucco and brick.

For the past 10 years we have listened to complaints of leaky moldy basement walls that are difficult and expensive to repair, same for concrete floors. In some cases, all that was necessary was to fix the downspouts. In others, expensive landscaping or replacing foundation walls were required. However, in most all cases the damage has already been done. Moisture has already soaked into the concrete floors or walls.
How do you get rid of the moisture that is already inside the walls or floors? It's a tough question that we never had a non-toxic answer for, until now! Finally, we found a family of products that stop water penetration from the outside in as well as from the inside out. They work quickly, easily, and are completely safe to use. No expensive equipment is needed. You can do this yourself with a simple garden sprayer.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
GBS Penetrating Sealer is a waterborne, polyester, polymer, and polyurethane resin that penetrates deeply, 2-4 inches, and fills the pores of new or old concrete, brick, masonry or stucco. When cured, GBS Penetrating Sealer chemically bonds with the substrate creating an epoxy-like plastic seal that internally blocks out moisture in one simple application.
What Does It Seal?
Poured concrete floors and walls (new or old) Concrete blocks and splitface blocks Clay bricks, brick veneer and mortar Limestone and porous stone, Mexican tile, pavers, grout Plaster and stucco Acid-stained concrete and other colored concrete
Note: these products only work on surfaces that have not been previously sealed, or where the previous sealer has worn off or has been removed. We do offer products that can remove old sealers or waxes. Silicone based sealers must usually be sanded off.
How Does It Compare To Paints and Other Sealers?
Most sealers and paints are topical which means they form a non-porous surface film which eventually peels off, cracks, or simply wears off due to wear and tear, efflorescence (white powder), water pressure, saponification (reaction with lime), etc. Once this happens you have to re-seal the surface. In the case of paint, you must strip off the remaining paint and repaint the surface. Both require a significant amount of time and expense.
GBS Penetrating Sealer is a permanent sealer and does not wear off because it does not form a surface film and is not subject to the various problems associated with concrete and masonry. This will save you hassel and a great deal of money in the long run.
