Quartz-Lock® Grout is a Urethane based grout that contains NO Epoxy, NO Cement and NO Pigments. The grout comes ready to use in the bucket. The rich color is derived from treated quartz, not pigments. Quartz-Lock® Grout stays colorfast and will match perfectly every time. The water based formula makes workability and clean up a snap.

Quartz-Lock® Grout cures to a hard, semi-elastic, self-sealed finish that looks great and lasts. Our anti-microbial formula resists mold, mildew and fungus. Best of all, Quartz-Lock® Grout leads the pack for stain and chemical resistance and exceeds ANSI 118.3 for both. Quartz-Lock® Grout captures all the benefits of epoxy grout without the headaches (or the allergies).

Product Description

StarQuartz, Quartz-Lock® Grout is a PRE-MIXED urethane based non-allergenic, sanded grout for ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone on floors and walls. Ready-to-use Quartz-Lock® Grout is stain resistant to most household products and most automotive chemicals. Quartz-Lock® Grout contains NO Epoxy, NO Cement and NO Pigments (except "High White" which contains pigment to achieve bright white color).

• Horizontal or vertical surfaces including floors, walls and countertops
• New grouting or renovation re-grouting
• Wet or dry area applications (Wet areas require our StarCure accelerator to speed up the curing time)

Shelf Life 
Quartz-Lock™ Grout is guaranteed to remain suitable for use for a period of three years if stored unopened at temperatures above 32 degrees F. After opening, Quartz-Lock™ Grout can be saved for reuse if resealed in original container. 

Clean Up

• Quartz-Lock® Grout is water soluble making clean-up quick and easy
• DO NOT use vinegar solutions for clean up!
• Use StarClean citrus additive (included with grout at a rate of one package per 5
  gallons of water)
• For best results, clean excess urethane from surfaces as you work, particularly in hot or dry environments 

Limitations

• Minimum recommended grout joint width is 1/16”
• Maximum recommended grout joint width is 1/2”
• Do not use as a setting mortar
• Not for use in areas subjected to harsh or persistent chemicals or areas exposed to very aggressive cleaning routines
• Quartz-Lock® Grout is not a replacement for a waterproof membrane
• Quartz-Lock® Grout will resist staining from most household products, automotive chemicals and cleaners, however, persistent exposure to some materials can cause uncleanable stains
• Due to excessive moisture in mud beds (layers of concrete in shower bases) or damp areas that dry slowly we strongly advise using our StarCure accelerator to avoid delays in using your tile in a shower or other area.
