How it Works
- Turn on the hot water faucet in kitchen or bathroom.
- The water enters the heater.
- A water flow sensor detects the water flow.
- The computer automatically ignites the burner.
- The water circulates through the heat exchanger (coil).
- The heat exchanger instantly heats the water at the designated temperature (this takes only 5 seconds).
- The heater can provide you with endless hot water continuously so no more running out of hot water in the middle of a shower!
When the hot water tap is turned off, the unit shuts down automatically.

Product Benefits:
Endless Hot Water
The tankless hot water heater will supply a steady flow of hot water at the designated temperature for as long as needed, wherever it’s needed. You'll never run out.
Up to 50% energy savings
Not only will it provide you with continuous hot water...it does it in the most energy-efficient way possible. Traditional tank-type water heaters constantly burn gas in order to maintain the set water temperature in the tank, even when water is not being used. With a tankless water heater, water is heated only when you need it. So when you’re at work or on vacation and no one is at home, it’s not wasting energy.
Tankless heaters can pay for themselves in energy savings alone. Many people experience savings of up to 50% which can pay for the unit within a year or two. Also, check with your local energy company to see what type of credits are available. Most offer some type of financial incentive for purchasing a tankless hot water heater.
Space savings
Get up to 90% space savings vs. traditional water heaters. With no tank to steal valuable floor space, the wall-mounting design frees up your basement, garage or utility room for additional storage and versatility. Product Safety
When thinking about product safety, consider the following:
- Consistently safe water temperature: All of our units are factory set at 122°F, offering a safe and steady temperature with computer controlled precision.
- Venting : tankless water heaters use the safest venting on the market today. The venting seals the exhaust from the top of the unit through the exterior and the built-in exhaust fan ensures any harmful fumes are fully expelled from the home every time the water shuts down.
- Safety Devices: uses smart safety and monitoring devices to ensure that the system is working flawlessly. Computerized electronics allow a Takagi water heater to monitor itself, so you won't have to.
- Safer In An Earthquake: there is no pilot light to ignite flammable vapors and no heavy tank to fall or pull pipes out of the wall, eliminating the risk of scalding from ruptured hot water pipes as well
Applications: The smarter answer for any application
Safer, smarter and easier to place in a home, tankless water heaters are the perfect solution for a broad range of hot-water applications. Properly sized for the job at hand, they will supply a steady flow of hot water at the designated temperature for as long as it’s needed, wherever it’s needed.
