The AquaRain™ Natural Water Filter will provide your family and loved ones with laboratory proven safe drinking water without electricity, without plumbing, and without pressure or chemical pretreatments.
This patented space-age ceramic technology removes dangerous living organisms and harmful bacteria from your drinking water naturally using micro filtration and gravity.
A dense and highly absorptive activated carbon filter bed has been incorporated within the ceramic shell and sterile metallic silver added to maintain purity in the filter system.
The attractive super-sanitary stainless steel housing is press-formed without seams or welds and has easy lift handles. A unique "splash guard" system insures safe drinking water in daily operation. Here is what may be the best part... the AquaRain™ can produce quality drinking water for less than 2¢ per gallon!
High-Tech Ceramic Filter Elements

At the heart of this natural process micro-filter are patented high-tech ceramic filter elements specifically designed for the AquaRain™ system.
The AquaRain™ Natural Water Filter is manufactured to meet stringent NSF standards and fully achieves the USEPA requirements of a Cyst and Bacteria Water Purifier.
Best of all, the AquaRain™ Water Filter is made with loving care right here in the USA with American Innovation and American Technology!
The AquaRain™ Gravity Water Filter System is Easy To Use, Requires No Electricity or Plumbing. It Will Remove Chlorine As Well As Other Chemicals and Dangerous Biological Pathogens.
How Does It Work?
The AquaRain™ Water Filter system works in a very natural way using gravity to gently draw water down through our "cultured" ceramic stone in much the same manner as nature processes ground water through the earth. The microfine pore structure of our ceramic media will remove dangerous organisms such as protozoan cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia lamblia) and microscopic bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella typhimurium, etc...)
Enclosed within the hard ceramic shell we have incorporated a concentrated bed of Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) that contains a self-sterilizing metallic silver. The high performance silvered GAC bed will adsorb various organic chemicals such as MTBE and pesticides, remove chlorine compounds including carcinogenic halogens, and improve the taste and odor of the water.
To the benefit of good health, our system will also leave unchanged the naturally occurring electrolytes and minerals found in your water.
Ceramic water filters work in three ways.
First, surface sieving, much like a screen door, does not allow larger particles to pass through the outer surface of the filter.
Second, ceramic filters operate as a depth media, providing a twisting, tortuous path like a maze, trapping contaminants within the walls (usually in the top .005" below the surface).
Third, surface charge or adhesion, whereby contaminants that are small enough to penetrate the walls of the ceramic may cling to the walls like opposite polarity magnets attract each other. This surface charge is often greater than the force of the water flow that might otherwise dislodge the contaminant. This is particularly true with gravity or siphon-fed ceramic applications.
Wall thickness is particularly important with regard to a ceramic's performance as a depth media. The maze-like, tortuous path allows for filtration performance at an effective pore size that is much less than the actual median pore diameter of the diatomes from which the filter is made. As clogged filters are cleaned to restore flow, contaminants in the top .005" of surface material are removed.
How Long Will The Filters Last?
This depends upon how much you use it, how dirty is your water, and how you clean it. Generally speaking you should enjoy several thousand gallons of fresh drinking water for each set of filters. If you drink 1 gallon per day, one set of filters may last apx. 5-8 years.
Included with each set of filters is a light scrubbing pad which is gently rubbed on the outside of the ceramic filters as needed. Over time, cleaning will gradually reduce wall thickness. In order to determine when to replace the filters a patented and reliable "end-of-life" indicator or gauge has been included to determine precisely when to replace the cartridges. Now there is no more guessing. |
