All-weather general-purpose construction sealant
Novalink is a versatile sealant that works in damp, dry and cold climates down to 30 °F. It won't discolor with UV light and is capable of joint movement in excess of 25% in both compression and extension. Novalink has a 30-minute skin-over time, is totally non-toxic, is paintable within 24 hours and has very low odor.
This is a multi-tasking caulk/sealant that bonds with most construction materials including aluminum, galvanized metal, engineered plastics, PVC, glass, fiberglass, FRP, wood, block, brick, EPS foam, concrete, stone and masonry.
NovaLink is very similar to Chemlink's M-1 structural adhesive. However, Novalink has more color options, higher viscosity, longer skin-over time, lower shear strength, and it bonds to slightly fewer materials. NovaLink is perfect for medium-duty jobs. It's a sealant as opposed to a structural adhesive.
