Low-sheen protective sealer
American Clay Penetrating Sealer blocks moisture and makes cleanup easy. It penetrates in and binds with the clay to improve hardness and water-resistance. Penetrating Sealer is perfect for walls behind sinks and around bathtubs, as well as on back-splashes in kitchens. NOTE: it should not be used on walls in constant contact with moisture.
A single coat of Penetrating Sealer will leave a very low sheen on the wall; two to three coats can be used to achieve a semi-gloss finish and provide even more durability.
A slight color change may occur when applying Penetrating Sealer. Please test a small area to see how this effects the color wall.
