Natural binder/primer that increases durability
Mud Glue is for professionals; this means someone with considerable experience. It's an additive for American Clay Plaster that can eliminate the use of a sanded primer, thus saving time and money. It's designed to make the base coat of clay sticky enough to adhere to most new or existing walls. It can also be used as a hardener for a finish coat of plaster, making the plaster more resistant to impact and wear.
Mud Glue is a dry powder mixed in the water used to mix the plaster. Use one bag per 50-pound bag of plaster. NOTE: Mud Glue is made of casein, a natural milk protein. It must be used in three to four days; after that it begins to smell.
Why we like it
Once you learn how to use it, Mud Glue saves an entire step of priming, as well as the cost of the primer. It also makes the plaster harder, but it must be used in a few day's time.

Alert: Because it's a natural product that's alkaline, be sure to wear gloves and eye protection while mixing the product. Avoid breathing dust and contact with eyes, skin and clothing. First-aid for any reactions should be in accordance with treatment for alkali materials. For respiratory reaction, get some fresh air. For skin reaction, wash with soap and water.
