Multi-purpose, solvent-free construction adhesive
BuildSecure is a non-toxic, VOC-compliant construction adhesive that can be used as an eco-alternative to Liquid Nails® in all building projects. It is extremely strong with 500-600 psi shear strength and 550-650 psi tensile strength.
BuildSecure is moisture-cured and fast-setting on concrete, metal or wood. In addition, it contains high solids but is non-slumping and will not shrink or crack.
It can be used in vertical, horizontal and overhead applications, as well as in low temperatures.
Why we like it
We used BuildSecure to attach 1" thick shelves to our tradeshow exhibit. Just for fun, we wanted to see how much weight they could support before breaking. We were unable to break a shelf off with our hands or feet, so we finally mounted it to the wall to try hanging on it. We were completely shocked when it supported each of us hanging (individually); after only an hour or so of drying, it supported our entire body weight! We now use it on just about anything.
