Environmentally-sound and FSC certified underlayment - 6 mm sheets
Nova Cork's Underlayment is a natural thermal & acoustic insulator that minimizes sound transmission from floor to ceiling on second floor applications and from heat and cold transfer on ground floor applications. It is an excellent underlayment choice for a variety of floor coverings including, hardwood, marble, natural stone, ceramic or a floating floors.
Also available in rolls 1/8" (6 mm) and 1/2" (24 mm) thick.
Why we like it
Many condo associations and apartments require cork underlayment beneath hardwood, laminate, ceramic tile and even carpeting. That's because it's a great acoustical insulator between floors as well as between walls. It's moisture-resistant, mold and mildew resistant and does not compress over time. Being totally renewable and biodegradable, what could be more sustainable?
