Multi-tasking floating floor underlayment with built-in vapor barrier
Quiet Walk underlayment improves a floor five ways:
- provides moisture protection
- smooths out little sub-floor imperfections
- quiets impact sound and floor-to-ceiling noise
- inhibits mold and mildew
- increases R-value to help keep floors warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer
It's constructed of 95% post-industrial recycled blended synthetic fibers along with a tough polyethylene vapor barrier. There is no odor and it does not off-gas any toxic fumes.
Quiet Walk underlayment is very easy to install because it has self-sticking and overlapping seams. It's suitable for use over all types of concrete or wood subfloors, including over radiant heat systems.
