Teragren's Synergy Strand Bamboo Flooring Collection offers one of the safest, purest and most durable green floors available. Synergy strand is a solid strip tongue and groove floor that comes in four simple, yet alluring, colors: Wheat, Chestnut, Java and Brindle. These are all available in either a 10 mm (3/8") or 12 mm (1/2") thick version to suit various floor conditions.

Unlike most bamboo suppliers who are mainly importers, Teragren develops and manufactures all of its own products, directly controlling quality from harvest to distribution through 11 separate checkpoints. But Teragren goes above and beyond even this.

The Synergy strand bamboo is manufactured with a unique award-winning Xcora technology — the very best in product engineering that utilizes the "hot press" (vs. cold press) system for high hardness ratings, moisture control and stability. As a result, the Synergy series is 154% harder than red oak, making it an ideal option for high-traffic areas in both residential and commercial environments.

The Xcora technology includes a 7-coat German finish which provides a wear layer of abrasion-resistant aluminum oxide, plus two scratch-resistant polyurethane topcoats that protect the bamboo fiber's natural strength and beauty. Its finish is water-based and solvent-free, and its adhesives emit substantially less formaldehyde than is present in ambient air. This same product is also available in the Teragren Portfolio Collection with the Välinge-patented, glueless, self-locking system which allows the flooring to be quickly installed and floated on, above or below grade.

Synergy is FloorScore-certified, one of the most rigorous air quality standards in the world. FloorScore ensures the quality of indoor air for schools and offices and meets stringent standards for 78 volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
