The Synergy Wide-Plank collection is manufactured with a unique Xcora technology — the very best in product engineering utilizing the "hot press" (vs. cold press) system for high hardness ratings, moisture control and stability. As a result, the Synergy series is 154% harder than red oak, making it an ideal option for high-traffic areas in both residential and commercial environments.

The Xcora technology includes a 7-coat German finish which provides a wear layer of abrasion-resistant aluminum oxide, plus two scratch-resistant, polyurethane topcoats that protect the bamboo fiber's natural strength and beauty. Its finish is water-based and solvent-free, and its adhesives emit substantially less formaldehyde than is present in ambient air. In addition, the Välinge-patented, glueless, self-locking system allows the flooring to be quickly installed and floated on, above or below grade.

Synergy is FloorScore-certified which is one of the most rigorous air quality standards in the world. FloorScore ensures the quality of indoor air for schools and offices and meets stringent standards for 78 volatile organic compounds (VOCs).Synergy has also received the highest gold rating by Scientific Certification Systems which is a third party certification company.
