Beautiful, wide-plank, DIY engineered bamboo flooring
Teragren's Studio Collection is a elegant sustainable wide-plank bamboo flooring which is a do-it-yourselfer's dream. That's because the Välinge-patented, glueless, self-locking system makes it so easy to install over almost any type of subfloor such as wood or concrete. The series consists of natural and caramelized colors in vertical and flat grain options complementing many styles, from traditional to contemporary.
A cross-ply bamboo fiber core ensures that the flooring remains flat and the locking system profile remains strong and stable. Additionally, Teragren floors are warranted for use over hydronic or electric radiant-heat systems.
The 7-coat German finish includes a wear layer of abrasion-resistant aluminum oxide, plus two scratch-resistant, polyurethane topcoats that protect the bamboo fiber's natural strength and beauty. Its finish is water-based and solvent-free, and its adhesives emit substantially less formaldehyde than is present in ambient air.
Studio is also FloorScore-certified, one of the most rigorous air quality standards in the world. FloorScore ensures the quality of indoor air for high performance schools and offices and meets stringent standards for 78 volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Teragren goes above and beyond. Unlike many bamboo suppliers, they develop and manufacture all of their own products, directly controlling quality from harvest to distribution through 11 separate checkpoints.
