EcoStar's Majestic Slate was designed to emulate the look and feel of natural slate. However, in comparison to natural slate, Majestic Slate is substantially lighter in weight and is produced using some of today’s strongest, most flexible materials, including recycled rubber (EPDM) and plastic (TPO). Unlike natural slate, no special engineering is required for the roof. Majestic Slate is also a more economical choice because the ease of application makes the installed cost considerably less than natural slate.
